A4C Mobile-Alaska Bound

I hope a lot of people follow me on my big trip! I will try to make it as fun for everyone as possible.
For those who dont know, I am traveling by RV, with my dogs...from Alabama to Alaska. Thats 10,000 mile round trip journey and my most ambitious trip yet.
I cant wait to get started, it is always such an adventure. I meet the most interesting people when I travel, like the man that had just walked from Tijuana Mexico to Mount Whitney California because he promised his wife he would, just before she passed.
Thats the stuff that keeps me going, knowing there are people out their that follow their hearts wherever the path leads. He just put on a pack and walked 600 miles, and he was just getting started. THAT is amazing. And thats what I look forward to when I travel.

My rig...

Murphy, ready to go, as always:) He is the one that guarantees the trip will be fun. He is a people magnet and no one walks past without getting a little of his attention. He truly loves EVERYONE and every thing.

And my rig, a 1996 Pace Arrow Vision, 36ft. Ill be leaving it behind a good bit to hit the trail with a pack. Its a great rig but theres nothing like sleeping under the stars!

And, my art...this is what I hope pays for the gas money all the way to Alaska.

Its one of my smaller works but thats 4 gallons of gas and feeds a dog for a day at a no kill shelter in California called Save the Dalmations(and other breeds)
